VISITORS got a sneak preview of life in a university, specifically that in Monash University at its “Open Day-Come Discover Monash” event last month.

The whole day event was fun-filled for families to discover the university and also have some fun along the way.

A Parade of Nations which highlights the university’s diverse student population, a Toy Hospital, free health screening on the day as well as student presentations such as Muay Thai sports demonstration, gamelan music, Taekwando and Monash Quest, a treasure hunt made the day colourful and fun.

Three informative talks were also lined up for the day. These touched on how to help your child excel at university, interactive factors that affect the family as a unit by Paul Jambunathan, Consultant Clinical Psychologist and how to obtain scholarships and financial assistance, that may come in handy.

In line with the Monash brand refresh, the campus was decorated with the new Monash 'M'. Coupled with a new style of photography, dynamic illustrations and colour-saturated images, the Monash'M' represents a confident and exuberant brand and will give visitors a glimpse into all the amazing things they do here.
