TWENTY-year-old Teoh Tien Shern’s efforts in community policing initiatives in Subang Jaya received acknowledgement from the police at the recently concluded Police Day celebrations in USJ8.
He was the youngest recipient of the police appreciation letters received by the community from Subang Jaya OCPD ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari.
Shern, as he is fondly known in the community, writes and takes photographs for SJ Echo in between his busy schedule at college; as well as playing an active role in the SS14 Rukun Tetangga.
During the morning gathering to celebrate Police Day, Mohammad Azlin also extended appreciation letters to community leaders from the various Residents Associations and Rukun Tetangga groups in the district.
Police officers who excelled in their duties also received appreciation letters from Mohammad Azlin, who recently took over the helm in the district.
