SUBANG Jaya’s new man on the block ACP Mohammad Azlin Sadari assumed duties as the district’s OCPD on March 15, making him the youngest man to helm the position in Subang Jaya.
He takes over the reins from SAC Yahaya Ramli who was recently promoted and transferred to Johor.
Selangor Police Chief Dato Abu Samah Mat who witnessed the handover of duties between Yahaya and Mohammad Azlin said the latter had joined the police force in 1994.
Mohammad Sadari, 43 hails from Bagan Serai, Perak.
In a special interview with SJ Echo, Mohammad Azlin said continuing the partnership between the police and the community will ensure everything goes as planned. "I am looking forward to serving the Subang Jaya community," he said. Mohammad Azlin holds a Mass Communications Degree from UPM. Having served in the police force for 21 years, he expressed his hope to work with everyone as a team. Mohammad Azlin is married with 3 children; 2 boys (18 and 5) and a daughter (12). He appears to possess a sense of humour when we remarked that he is younger than most of the community leaders. "You are not older than me. I am just younger than you," he quipped.
His tour of duty has taken him to the Criminal Investigations Department in Sabah; CID in Bukit Aman; General Operations Force; CID (Commercial) in Negeri Sembilan and back to CID in Bukit Aman before assuming his duties as Subang Jaya OCPD.
