TAKE a walk on the wild side and journey to the “Earth’s Crust” at the Subang Jaya Municipal Council’s Kompleks 3C.

You don’t have to bring your climbing gear or hard hats. Just pop over to the venue and enjoy yourself with the 3D mural of the “Earth’s Crust” and get some stunning shots of you “balancing” yourself along narrow ledges.

The unique mural was designed and prepared by students of UITM at a cost of RM10,000.

Photographed from a specific angle, the illustrations from the mural come to life as if one was stepping on the Earth’s crust.

ADUN Subang Jaya Hannah Yeoh and MPSJ deputy president Abdullah Marjunid jointly launched the mural last month. Both Hannah and Marjunid could not resist trying out the effects of the mural themselves.

“I would like MPSJ to revise the present rate of RM10 per entry and make it more affordable for families.”

“MPSJ should come up with an affordable package for families and groups. Please lower the entry price to better attract the public,” she said.

Hannah also visited the Kompleks 3C hydroponics nursery which was jointly developed by MPSJ and Universiti Politek Nilai. The goal of the nursery is to produce fresh pesticide-free vegetables for the public.

Guests for the day were invited to try the vegetables. MPSJ plans to sell the vegetables for RM6 per pack of vegetables. -By Teoh Tien Shern
