Charity Dinner for SJBA Building Extension

THE Subang Jaya Buddhist Association is aiming to raise RM1.2mil from their charity dinner on May 7 for their building extension block project.

SJBA president Chim Siew Choon said the “Nurturing Wisdom and Compassion” charity dinner will be held at the Restaurant Extra Supertanker at Kelab Bukit Utama.

“Dinner tables can be purchased to support this cause. The cost of each table is from RM3,000 to RM20,000.”

“All funds raised from this dinner will be channeled to the building extension block for the temple,” he said.

Chim said SJBA had raised RM3.38mil for the building extension which is estimated at RM5mil.

“The cost of the construction of the extension block is RM5mil and this does not include GST and interior design works which is estimated to be around another RM1mil,” he added.

Chim said lots of interesting programmes have been planned for the charity dinner, which includes performances by the Caring and Sharing Choir among others.
